Man Arrested After Brief Standoff Following Domestic Violence Incident

Pueblo, CO:   The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a domestic violence incident that led to a brief standoff with law enforcement at a home in the city of Pueblo and resulted in the peaceful arrest of 41-year-old man this morning. An alert driver notified law enforcement after seeing a woman, who was a passenger in a truck that was traveling westbound on Highway 50, waving her hands and asking for help. The woman was able to get out of the moving truck in the 2000 block of E. 16th Street, while the driver stopped and got out of the vehicle and ran into a nearby residence.
